THE GETAWAY ITINERARY

We are busy putting the finishing touches to the Health Getaway planned for 24-31 May 2013 and have pleasure in attaching some of the details and also photographs of the beautifully refurbished farmhouse where we shall be staying.

THE SEVEN NIGHTS TRIP WILL INCLUDE:

Three days of cultural visits to nearby Gubbio, Assisi and other sites of interest.

Alan Keyse will be on hand to help answer queries regarding the historical aspects of the area including an hour’s lecture on the evening of arrival day setting the scene for Umbria’s place in historical Italy from Roman times to the renaissance period.  

Art Appreciation

Ercilia, with her background in fine art, will also give time and plenty of opportunity to discuss composition and structure in medieval and Renaissance styles for anyone interested  

Mind, body & spirit wellness

The second half of the ‘Getaway’ will be devoted to mind, body & spirit wellness at the farmhouse. This will incorporate daily yoga with Halina and Ercilia will be leading our meditation practices.

Motivation & Inspiration

Finally, Alan will conduct a shortened version of the ‘positive truth’ workshop dedicated to developing mindfulness, positive attitudes to goal setting, daily affirmations and a state of mind focusing on building and maintaining inner clarity & motivation.

Osteopathy / Cranial Osteopathy / Massage

Ercilia will be offering two 30 minute treatments. One in Umbria and the other back in Hertfordshire. 

IMPORTANT

All activities throughout the stay are, of course, optional. Everyone can dip in and out of whatever happens to be going on at the time. Your time with us can be as relaxed or as active as you want it to be.

INCLUDED IN THE COST

• 7 nights 2 people sharing £986 per person (for single occupancy add 15% per person). 
• A payment of 30% of the cost is required at the time of booking
• Half board (breakfast & dinner)
• All excursions (does not include any entry fees for sites, museums etc)
• All classes & workshops
• One osteopathy treatment (this can be taken in the UK if preferred)

• Car hire – this will be arranged in Italy but we shall be driving. Estimated cost will follow.
• Airline ticket
• Transfers to and from UK airports
